Application drive in George on 30 November 2019.

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) provides academic funding in the form of bursaries for eligible South Africans to study at any of the 26 public universities and 50 TVET colleges across the country. In order for students to apply they are required to apply online during the application season the year before. Our application window for the 2020 academic year is currently open and will close on 30 November 2019.  The funding provided by NSFAS covers the cost of registration, tuition, transport, accommodation, food, personal care and even books (for university students).

NSFAS will run an application drive which will take place on 30 November at George High School at 09h00.

This funding opportunity is available to applicants who have passed Grade 9 to 12 and wish to study at a TVET College in 2020 as well as out of school youth and the current Grade 12’s who wish to study at a public university.

On the day of the application drive, the applicants will have the opportunity to apply for NSFAS funding and find out more information regarding studying opportunities at public universities and TVET colleges.
