The George Municipality acknowledges
the importance of youth development and
therefore invites the following eligible locally
Current Grade 12 learners
Those who completed Grade 12 in 2018
Previous George Municipality bursary
The following Municipal scarce skills fields
will receive preference:
o Building Control/ Inspection
o Town & Regional Planning
o Environmental health
o Electrical Engineering
o GIS & Land-use Management
o Mechanical engineering
o Civil Engineering (Road construction)
Fields also considered are:
o Finance related fields
Bursary application forms can be acquired
at the George/Uniondale or Haarlem Municipal
Offices at the Reception desk or from the
George Municipality website.
Please note that all applications must be
accompanied by originally certified copies
of the applicants identity document, latest
academic record, a testimonial from your current academic institution and proof of annual
household income. Proof of residential address as well as provisional acceptance to tertiary institution is compulsory.
