Go George Attends Disability Workshop

GO GEORGE INVITED TO TALK ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY AT LIBRARY WEEK

In honour of National Library Week,George Library Services hosteda disability workshop at the George Museum last week. Presentations includeda section on accessibility for people living with disabilities.

The GO GEORGE communications team used the opportunity to explain how the bus service and buses have been designed to serve the needs of all passengers, including those with disabilities or special circumstances. The teamreceived most valuable feedback from attendees with special needs, and have already passed it on to management and the operational team for investigation and/or consideration.

Delegates from GO GEORGE attended a disability workshop at the George Museum last week. GO GEORGE GENOOI OM OOR TOEGANKLIKHEID TE PRAAT BY BIBLIOTEEKWEEK

George-biblioteekdienste het verlede week, as deel van Nasionale Biblioteekweek, ’n werksessie oor gestremdheid by die George-museum aangebied. Aanbiedings het ’n afdeling oor toeganklikheid vir mense wat met gestremdheid leef, ingesluit.

Die GO GEORGE-kommunikasiespan het die geleentheid benut om te verduidelik hoe die busdiens en die busse ontwerp is om om te sien na die behoeftes van alle passasiers, insluitend diegene met gestremdhede of spesiale omstandighede. Die span het uiters waardevolle terugvoer ontvang van mense met spesiale behoeftes wat die geleentheid bygewoon het, en het dit reeds deurgegee aan die bestuur en bedryfspan vir ondersoek en/of oorweging.

Afgevaardigdes van GO GEORGE het verlede week ’n werksessie oor gestremdheid by die George-museum bygewoon.
