Once completed, the heightened dam wall will increase its storage capacity by 25%. Construction is expected to be completed next year.

Mayor does his 67 minutes

 

Executive Mayor of George, Ald Melvin Naik today worked with the refuse team in Rosemore collecting refuse for his 67 minutes in support of Mandela Day.

Ald Naik has declared War on Waste in the residential areas of George and in keeping with the strategic objective of keeping George clean, green and safe, the Municipality

will step up enforcement of illegal dumping of household, green and industrial waste.
