Update - Water Emergency for Wilderness and surrounds
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION: Monday 14 October @ 16h00
STATUS OF WATER SUPPLY – REMAIN AT EMERGENCY STATUS
All areas have water BUT CONSUMPTION OF WATER REMAINS TOO HIGH. Reservoir levels are very low. Consumers are requested to REDUCE CONSUMPTION or the entire area may not have water by early evening. The system remains vulnerable until the repair on the Kaaiman’s Railway Bridge has been finalised.
INTERIM WATER SUPPLY
5 x 5000 litre Water tanks are located at Bundu Supersave and along Remskoen Dr.
UPDATE ON REPAIR PLANNING AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Laying of temporary pipeline along Kaaiman’s Railway Bridge has commenced.
