Outeniqua Pass / Robinson Pass open.
Montagu Pass remains closed.
N2 closed between Tsitsikamma Toll Gate and Storms River Bridge due to veld fires in the area.

TAKE NOTE: Outeniqua Pass currently has teams clearing debris from the fire and winds of last night. Motorists are warned to proceed with caution and be aware of possibility of falling rocks and trees. Please do not stop on the pass to take photographs.

STATUS OF GEORGE FIRES
Seven Passes, Waboomskraal (Backburn is planned), Fernridge, Blanco and Kraaibosch are all being managed with no current threat to infrastructure or people.

Fires in Uniondale, Noll and Haarlem.

Wind direction strong Westerly for most of today with 6mm of rain predicted.

GO GEORGE has returned the remaining 78 people who were housed in the Town Hall overnight to their homes in Blanco this morning.

Conville Clinic providing normal services today. EMS will take all patients to George Hospital. Blanco Clinic has reopened.

Power Outages: Herolds Bay, Hoekwil power still off. Thembalethu Zone 9 off due to broken pole, being replaced.

Services: Water Works Treatment plants are fully operational. All reservoirs remain at good levels.

Aerial Support: will be redeployed to attend to other fires in the region and focused on areas needed. Will be working from George.

Resources: Currently over 593 resources available in the field throughout the district.
