Upcoming Valuation Roll

The new upcoming General Valuation Roll will be implemented on 1 July 2027.

George Municipality has awarded a tender and is currently in the process of compiling a new General Valuation Roll in terms of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act (MPRA), which will take effect on 1 July 2027.

The valuations are being undertaken by DDP Property Valuers (Pty) Ltd. As a business or resident you may be contacted directly by DDP Property Valuers as our service provider.

Once completed, the General Valuation Roll will be made available for public inspection and objection in accordance with the provisions of the MPRA. Property owners will be notified when the inspection and objection period commences.
