The eye test machines (LEU’s) at the Driving Licence Testing Centre in Pacaltsdorp are currently offline. The information available at this stage suggests that this is a national issue. The electrical cable which supplies power to the Kraaibosch water pump station was damaged. While the cable is being repaired, residents who receive water from the Kraaibosch water tower are experiencing water outages.
A water tanker has been positioned at Welgelegen Estate to supply drinkable water temporarily.
Residents are urged to use water sparingly and report water outages to 044 801 6300/044 801 6266.
