THE GEORGE MUNICIPALITY CARES AND WE WANT TO HELP
Application requirements
• You must reapply every year.
• The income from everyone in your household is assessed.
• Total household income may not exceed 2 x state pension (SASSA).
• Applicants must be full-time occupants.
• May not own any other property in SA.
• May not be a director of a company or in business.
• Property used for residential purposes only.

New electronic application process
• Only electronic applications will be accepted, to effectively record and keep track of the status of your application.
• No more hard copy applications to be filled in, our officials will assist you with the electronic application.

Household visits
Household visits are available to all elderly occupants or disabled occupants that require assistance at home with the online indigent application.

Where can I apply?
Main Municipal Building (Cashier Hall), an Area Office near you and at the Debt Pack Office (Millwood Building, 83 Victoria Street, George)

Aansoek vereistes

  • U moet jaarliks aansoek doen.
  • Die inkomste van elke persoon in u huishouding word geassesseer.
  • Totale huishoudelike inkomste mag nie 2 x staatspensioen (SASSA) oorskry nie.
  • Aansoekers moet permanente inwoners wees.
  • Aansoekers mag geen ander eiendom in SA besit nie.
  • Aansoekers kan nie ‘n direkteur van ‘n maatskappy of besigheid wees nie.
  • Eiendom mag slegs vir residensiële doeleindes gebruik word.

Nuwe elektroniese aansoek-proses:

  • Slegs elektroniese aansoeke word aanvaar, om die aansoek-proses akkuraat monitor.
  • Ons amptenare sal u help met die elektroniese aansoeke.

Huisbesoeke

Huisbesoeke kan gereël word vir bejaardes of inwoners met gestremdhede  wat hulp benodig met die elektroniese deernis-aansoeke.

 Waar kan u aansoek doen?

Munisipaliteit Hoofgebou (Deernis toonbank), u naaste Area-kantoor en by die Debt Pack Kantoor (Millwood Gebou, Victoria Straat 83, George)
