OPDATEER: Beskadigde waterpyp in Uniondale

OPDATEER: Beskadigde waterpyp in Uniondale

Uniondale and Lyonville have been experiencing water supply interruptions today due to a damaged water pipe. Water supply was restored at 13:00 today, however, the reservoir levels dropped to the extent that there is sediment in the water lines, causing discoloured/brown water.

The reservoir is being filled, and the municipality will flush the sediment once there is sufficient clean water available. In the interim, a water tanker will roam Lyonville to provide clear water to residents until 21.00.
