Crime is a reality for most South Africans and George municipality is not an exception to this reality. Now, more than ever, we need to band together as a community, as residents of this great municipality to combat the spate of crime rearing its head within our municipal area.

Executive mayor, Leon Van Wyk, is calling on all existing neighbourhood watches and other stakeholders such as businesses, in the region to engage with him and other municipal stakeholders on this topic in July this year. If you wish to establish a neighbourhood watch in your area, join us and we will assist in realising this.
