Consumers can phone 044 8019243 to discuss their specific energy consumption and find out what the best Capacity will be for their needs. Must have their Municipal Account Number and Prepaid Meter Number handy OR email their query to elec.applications@george.gov.za

Pipe failure in Uniondale

There is a pipe failure in Uniondale. Area of Lionvale affected. Teams out on the ground to search for the problem. Water to be restored as soon as the team can locate and fix the problem. No water trucks can be deployed after 9pm. Public to please be patient as teams will be working through the night to sort out the problem.

PIPE BURST IN KNYSNA ROAD WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTED

There has been a pipe burst in Knysna Road. The Water services stand-by teams have closed the water supply between the 4th and 5th Avenue. Affected areas are Bergsig/Loerie Park and Lavalia. An estimated time of repair is three (3) hours. A water truck has meanwhile been despatched at the corner of Pick ‘n Pay and 4th Avenue

Public Notice: Pipe burst in Heuwel Street, Denneoord

Public Notice: There is currently a pipe burst in Heuwel Street, Denneoord close to the Denneoord Primary School. A portion of the area will be affected with no water. There is a likelihood that the stage of loadshedding might need to be increased during the evening peaks.
