MUNICIPAL OFFICES CLOSED FOR HERITAGE DAY – REFUSE COLLECTED ON THE DAY AS USUAL

George Municipality advises residents and businesses that all municipal offices will be closed on Thursday, 24 September 2026, in observance of Heritage Day.
Municipal offices will reopen on Friday, 25 September 2026.

REFUSE REMOVAL
Refuse removal will continue as normal on Thursday, 24 September 2026. Residents and businesses are reminded to put out their refuse by 07:00 on collection day.

Building rubble, garden waste and other materials not suitable for refuse bags or bins can be taken to the municipal refuse site on the R102 (Airport Road).
