Power outages in portions of Thembalethu affecting Zone 5 (Mdongwe) and Zone 8 (Mandela Village).
Teams have been dispatched.

ETR will be provided once the illegal connections have been removed.

The power supply has been restored to Zones 7 and 8. “Gushindoda” will remain off until all illegal connections are removed.

An unplanned power outage has occurred in Zones 7 and 8 in Thembalethu due to illegal connections. Electricians have been dispatched and are currently repairing the damage. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.

George Municipality’s water distribution maintenance team is attending to a damaged water pipe in Pikkewyn Crescent, Andersonville. The expected time of repairs is approximately 4 hours, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
