UPDATE: GUNPLAST APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR QUALIFYING RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY SEVERE WEATHER

George Municipality invites qualifying residents who may be affected by the forecast severe weather conditions to apply for Gunplast assistance.

Residents requiring assistance must complete the prescribed application form and submit it, together with a copy of the applicant’s identity document, to Harriet Meyer at hemeyer@george.gov.za for assessment by the Integrated Human Settlements Department.

Please note that the submission of an application does not guarantee approval. All applications will be assessed by the Human Settlements Department in accordance with municipal criteria, the level of need, and the availability of resources.
Preference will be given to vulnerable households, including elderly persons, persons with disabilities, and residents facing the highest risk from the anticipated weather conditions.

Residents who have previously received Gunplast assistance from George Municipality will NOT qualify for repeat assistance and will therefore not be considered during the current application process.
