CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – INTEGRATED LAND REFORM AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT PROGRAMME (ILRRDSP)

Please be advised that the Department of Land Reform and Rural Development (DLRRD) has opened applications for the Integrated Land Reform and Rural Development Support Programme (ILRRDSP) for the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 financial years.

The programme provides support aimed at enhancing food security, promoting rural enterprise development, strengthening agricultural value chains and revitalising land reform catalytic projects. Eligible applicants include rural households, subsistence farmers, communal producers, land reform beneficiaries, smallholder farmers, cooperatives, agri-SMMEs, aggregated producers and qualifying catalytic land reform projects.

• Opening date: 03 September 2026
• Closing date: 30 September 2026

How to Apply
Applicants are advised to:
1. Identify the appropriate category of support based on their farming operation, enterprise or project.
2. Complete the application form and ensure that all required supporting documentation is available.
3. Prepare, where applicable:
o Certified copy of ID;
o Proof of land rights or legal access;
o Business plan or project proposal;
o Relevant technical support letters;
o Governance documents;
o CIPC registration and tax compliance documents, where applicable.

Applicants are strongly encouraged not to wait until the closing date and to ensure that their applications are complete before submission. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
