UPDATE: WATER OUTAGE – CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT (CBD) – Meade Street / Nelson Mandela Boulevard

Our Water Maintenance Team is still attending to a water pipe burst at the intersection of Meade and Hibernia Street, George CBD.

The repair work is taking longer than expected due to the presence of major services (water, fiber, sewer, etc), making it difficult to excavate with a machine, thus all excavations was done by hand. The repairs will take approximately another 2 hours.

Some businesses/households in the affected area might experience low water pressure or no water.

A water truck currently roam the area to provide potable water.

The water pipe burst at the intersection of Meade and Nelson Mandela Boulevard was repaired and water flow was restored.

We apologize for any inconvenience as a result of this and thank the public for their patience.
