A pipe burst occurred in the main water pipeline in Uniondale. The estimated time of repair has not yet been determined. A water truck will be dispatched to supply water to the affected areas.

A pipe burst occurred in Denneoord at the corner of Blommekloof and Hortensia Street. The team is busy shutting the water off and ETR is 4 hours.

ESKOM POWER OUTAGE – Wilderness

George Municipality confirms that the entire Wilderness and surrounds currently has no power due to an ESKOM fault. Our team is in contact with ESKOM and will advise once we receive updates from them on the ETR.

Water supply will be interrupted in portions of Loerie Park on Tuesday 7 February 2023, from 09h00 – 15h00. The water supply disruption is due to the upgrading of the water line.

Water Trucks will be available to supply drinking water to the affected areas.
The following streets will be affected: Boekenhout St; De Mist Street, 5^th Avenue

POWER OUTAGE, 3 February @ 13h10. 4 seperate faults have been located on the feeder cable in Gloxina Street, Pacaltsdorp. Damage caused by a fibre contractor. Trenching is in progress. The ETR is currently 22h30 if no further faults are found. The municipality apologizes for the inconvenience due to circumstances out of our control.

A mainline pipe burst in Rygerpark, and several lengths of pipeline to be replaced. The estimated time for repairs is 6-7 hours. Two water trucks are rotating in the area.
