Please note Airway Road is closed at Witfontein Road and there is no access from Witfontein to Airway Road. Further updates on the road and traffic will be provided in due course.

Electricians are working on a feeder cable fault in Blanco.
The area affected include Napier, Searle, and Boshoff Streets.

Unplanned power outage: Zone 6 experienced a power outage
Some parts were re-energised but other parts could not be switched on due to illegal connections.
Teams are working on the removal of the illegal connections and the time of repair will depend on how long it takes to remove the illegal connections.
We ask the public to be patient.

Eskom Load shedding update: Tuesday, 09 January 2024 – The setback experienced in returning two generating units to service as well as the loss of three generating units necessitated the implementation of Stage 2 load shedding from 16:00 today. Thereafter, Stage 1 load shedding will be implemented from 05:00 until 16:00 on Wednesday. This pattern of Stage 1 loadshedding from 05:00 to 16:00 and Stage 2 loadshedding from 16:00 to 05:00 will continue until further notice.
