Electricity Cost of Supply Study and Proposed Electricity Tariff _Structures 2026–2027**

George Municipality would like to inform residents that the public participation meeting scheduled to take place in Haarlem regarding the Electricity Cost of Supply Study and proposed electricity tariff structures for the 2026-2027 financial year has been cancelled. This is because the Haarlem area is supplied with electricity by Eskom and not by George Municipality, and the proposed municipal electricity tariff structures therefore do not apply to this area.

Residents of Haarlem are thanked for their understanding.

George Munisipaliteit wil inwoners in kennis stel dat die openbare deelnamevergadering wat in Haarlem geskeduleer was rakende die Elektrisiteit Koste-van-Verskaffing studie en voorgestelde elektrisiteitstariefstrukture vir die 2026-2027 finansiële jaar, gekanselleer is. Die rede hiervoor is dat die Haarlem-gebied van elektrisiteit deur Eskom voorsien word en nie deur George Munisipaliteit nie, en die voorgestelde munisipale elektrisiteitstariefstrukture dus nie op hierdie gebied van toepassing is nie.

Inwoners van Haarlem word bedank vir hul begrip.
