Traffic Camera Upgrades and Enforcement Measures

George Municipality informs all road users that the Traffic Department is currently upgrading its traffic cameras, replacing them with new, advanced static and mobile units.

The primary goal is to promote safer roads, as speeding is a major contributor to traffic accidents. Studies have shown that speed cameras significantly reduce both the number of accidents and the severity of injuries.

The Municipality is committed to a zero-tolerance approach to speeding and lawlessness on the roads.
