EYE TEST SYSTEMS ARE TEMPORARILY DOWN AT THE PACALTSDORP LICENSING CENTRE

Please note that all the LEU eye test systems are all down at the Licensing Department in Pacaltsdorp. No renewals or applications can be done at this stage. A national call has been logged to resolve the problem.

Stage 3 loadshedding will be implemented from 16:00 today until midnight, as previously communicated. Thereafter, Stage 1 loadshedding will be implemented from 05:00 until 16:00 on Thursday.

UPDATE: POWER OUTAGES IN REIGERPARK AND SEVEN PASSES

Most power is restored, but only a few houses are still off. The Contractor is only available tomorrow to repair the Medium Volt cable fault. Power has been fully restored in Seven Passes and surrounding areas.

POWER OUTAGES IN REIGERPARK AND SEVEN PASSES

Reigerpark is experiencing an unexpected power outage. Electricians are out to investigate. Seven Passes is still experiencing power outages and will be off till 15:45, as there are more conductor damages.

THE FOLLOWING AREAS WILL BE AFFECTED:
VICTORIA BAY PORTION OF VICTORIA BAY HEIGHTS

NOTICE is hereby given that the electricity supply will be interrupted on FRIDAY 30 JUNE 2023 FROM 09H00 TO 16H00 for the purpose of doing alterations to the electrical mains. Consumers are warned to treat the installation as being live for the full duration as the supply may be resumed at any time within the notified period.

Should circumstances prevent the work being carried out during the abovementioned period; the work will be done on MONDAY 03 JULY 2023 FROM 09H00 TO 16H00.

There is a pipe burst in Ranger Street, Borcherds. A water truck is stationed at Ranger Street to supply water while the pipe burst is being attended to. The estimated time of repairs is 4hrs.

THE GWAIING LANDFILL SITE WILL BE STILL CLOSED ON WEDNESDAY, 28 JUNE 2023

The Gwaiing Landfill Site was closed yesterday (Tuesday, 27 June 2023), due to bad weather conditions. Since bad weather conditions persist, the closure of the landfill site is continuing until further notice. The following materials will be allowed at the site, building rubble and Topsoil.

Wilderness Heights is off due to a huge tree that fell. ETR can only be provided once the tree is cleared.

PLANNED WATER OUTAGE IN UNIONDALE

Repair of the pipe break on Klip Street is delayed due to bad weather. Residents will have water tonight. Municipal staff will undertake repairs tomorrow morning and a water truck will provide water to affected areas.
